Collaboration with other artists
Mamoru’s role: Graphic Designer/ Performer
Mamoru is working as graphic designer on Brain’s various projects including Carpe Minuta Prima, Purge, deciBel publicity, website, his DVD published by Live Art Development Agency and more.
Mamoru is also a regular performer of Cruising for Art events that Brian curates.
30 Bird Productions -- 14 Tables
Mamoru’s role: Designer/ Deviser/ Performer
14 Tables is a performance piece that takes place around a dinner table. For just a dozen audience members at a time. Other collaborators: Mehrdad Seyf, Jessamin Landamore, Zekan Cemal and Enrico Bertelli.
Nicola Conibere -- Count Two / Practice
Mamoru’s role: Lighting Designer/ Production Manager
Count Two (2011) has been shown at Purcell Room at Southbank Centre, Laban Theatre and Lakeside Arts Centre (Nottingham). Practice (2012) has been shown at Nottingham Contemporary and Laban Theatre. Other collaborators: Neil Callaghan, Helka Kaski, Lucille Acevedo-Jones, Duncun McLeod & Elena Koukoli.
Tim Jeeves -- The Horse’s Teeth
Mamoru’s role: Gift recepient
The Horse’s Teeth is a project around ‘gift’ which explores authorship and the ownership of artistic labour. Collaborators: Britt Jurgensen, Rachel Gomme, Taylan Halici, Richard Layzell and Jordan Macenzie.
